Reading

I'm interested in the phenomenology of seeing and how we perceive and acknowledge ourselves within a constructed "space". This led me to focus and understand crafted signs by nature. Encasing ones self  in the now allows for such an awareness to reveal hidden truths. Pieces are pieces, and this is all that we are always being given.

Craft to Architecture

"Thinking Architecure" by Zumthor is an inspiraing piece of work in architecture.

The jest of the book was how our memories of places are key in the design process as they aid us in the darkness of construction and manifest themselves to create atmospheres . Memories sometime are based off of emotional reactions and not so much on actual facts whether  there were " two steps or one" of an recall of a memory. we tend to simply rememeber the setimental attachments of places and spaces.
